Its been a while
Apologies - My chores around the house demanded my attention.
Since I last posted Rossi handed his title over to Nicky Hayden, and while I was sad to see it, both of them made the transition as perfect gentlemen.
Still - I'm rooting for #46 in 2007, #69 a close second.
I have my doubts that anyone other than my dog Elvis or my wife actually check this blog with any regularity, but in the event that you do, thanks.
Here's a little more web gold to hold you over for tonight.
Valencia just a few hours away
For those of you not up on your MOTO GP
Nicky is eight points behind Rossi after a mishap with Pedrosa in Portugal.
Thankfully everyone walked away.
Nicky must finish first ahead of Rossi, and hope that Rossi finishes further back than second or he will still not have enough points to take the title home.
As for me, I hope Rossi takes it home. Nicky raced a fantastic season, but Rossi came back after being as far down as fifty points and fourteenth place, with tire troubles along the way.
Either way, this has been the closest season anyone has seen in a long time.
Good luck Gentlemen.
Oh . . . there will probably be some of this going on as well
Winter Is Coming
Just had in-laws staying with us over the weekend.
return from the abyss
It has been far too long since my last post.
I sit at my keyboard wondering how a man so thoroughly possesed of insomnia could manage a lapse between posts as I have.
Whatever the reason - apologies - to whomever may have been waiting for my return.
Many thanks for returning. I'll make every effort toward diligent and more timely updates.
Let's get to it.
